Lois Polashenski

Lois Polashenski has a bachelor's degree in Environmental Conservation from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. During her undergraduate degree, she enjoyed learning about the influence of environmental stressors on public health. After graduating, Lois spent a year working as a laboratory technician in a medical laboratory. Lois moved to Tucson with her wife in 2022 and began working at the WEST Center, contributing to the UArizona COVID-19 surveillance project and a national collaborative PFAS project. Lois is currently a PhD student in the Environmental Science department, focusing on interests in environmental science and health.
