WEST Center welcomes visitors from the community, school groups,
and local nonprofit organizations.

To schedule an educational experience and tour for your group, please contact WEST Center Program Coordinator, Sarah Prasek, at sprasek@email.arizona.edu.
 

Directions to WEST Center

WEST Center is located at 2959 W Calle Agua Nueva, Tucson, AZ.  During 2020-2021, construction at the I10-Ruthruaff Rd Interchange will close exit ramps off I10 and require alternate routes. Please see the map below (PimaCountyWaterCampusMap.pdf) for directions to WEST or visit the ADOT Project webpage for the latest closure and route information.

Preparing for a Visit to WEST Center

WEST Center is a research facility, consisting primarily of laboratory space.  Researchers at WEST work with a variety of Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) microbiological agents as well as chemicals. 

  • On the day of your visit, please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
