Lois Polashenski

Lois Polashenski has a bachelor's degree in Environmental Conservation from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. During her undergraduate degree, she enjoyed learning about the influence of environmental stressors on public health. After graduating, Lois spent a year working as a laboratory technician in a medical laboratory. Lois recently moved to Tucson with her wife hoping to enjoy a fresh start in the desert. Working at the WEST Center allows Lois to explore her interests in environmental science and health while working on research projects such as the University of Arizona COVID-19 surveillance project. She hopes to expand her knowledge and continue working on innovative research in the future.
