Professor, Chemical and Environmental Engineering

Kimberly Ogden is a professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona (UA). She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Colorado.

Before joining the UA in the fall of 1992, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She is currently the president elect for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and on the managing board of the International Society for Water Solutions.

Her research focus includes bioreactor design for production of alternative fuels from algae and sweet sorghum, and microbiological water quality.
