Sarah Prasek joined WEST in April 2018 as the Center's new Program Coordinator. She has an undergraduate degree in Sustainable Development Studies and Biology from New Mexico State University and a master’s degree in Planning from the University of Arizona. Her graduate research focused on implementing alternative technologies to solve water shortage challenges in our region; she is especially excited to have this opportunity to contribute to the mission and work at UA’s WEST Center. Sarah has significant experience coordinating programs, creatively developing projects, and working with diverse groups and individuals to find common ground and achieve goals. Outside of WEST, Sarah is a ceramic artist and parent to a busy four-year-old. She loves to travel, but is always happy to come home to the desert southwest. She looks forward to collaborating with the WEST community!
